Wild mustangs and burros up for adoption

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - If you're looking to adopt a horse, you'll have your chance starting Thursday. Wild horses and burros will be available to adopt as part of a U.S. Bureau of Land Management Adoption event.

About 70 animals will be available for inspection Thursday at the Panhandle-South Plains Fairgrounds. Adoptions begin Friday, and the event runs through Saturday.
