Lubbock TX, (KCBD) - Former Red Raider Quarterback Graham Harrell has finally landed a quarterback job. After going unselected in the NFL Draft and taking part in workouts with the Cleveland Browns, Harrell is heading north of the Border to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League. Harrell and Roughriders GM Eric Tillman agreed to terms on a contract Thursday.
Harrell will reunite with Red Raider Receiver Eric Morris who returns punts and kickoffs for Saskatchewan and has been pushing for Harrell to come to the CFL. Harrell is en route from Texas to Canada today while Morris didn't practice with the team, out with an injured knee. He won't play this weekend as the Roughriders are off to a 2-0 start on the season.
