Deadly crash in Plainview

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - In Plainview, police are looking into the cause of a fatal rollover that happened just before 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the wreck on South Columbia in Plainview. Albert Perez, 27, was thrown from his 2006 Cadillac, and was pronounced dead on the scene.

His passenger, Juan Salazar, 26, was also ejected.  However, Salazar was treated at Covenant in Plainview and has since been released.
