Three people died Tuesday morning in an accident in Southeast Texas. It happened in Orange County, southeast of Lfkin. While the cause of the crash is under investigation, authorities believe one of the vehicles veered across the median and slammed into an on-coming car. Authorities shut down Interstate 10 for several hours after the accident. The names of the victims have not been released.

Police say a Fort Worth robber thought he was smart by taking the surveillance tape. But as it turns out, the restaurant had several other cameras to catch the robber in the act. The man stole a few hundred dollars, and even made a customer order him a beer. Fort Worth Police are still looking for the suspect, but thanks to the smart thinking of the restaurant manager, the police at least know what their suspect looks like.

Houston Mayor Lee Brown has been chosen to take on an additional job. He will serve jury duty in the murder trial of a man accused of butchering his six year-old son. Prosecutors say the 42 year-old defendant hacked his son with a large butcher knife on January 19th, then slit his throat, but his defense says an intruder committed the attack. Police found the boy dead in his home after sheriff's deputies received three 911 calls from the house.
