Hockley County Sheriff's Deputy out of jail

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Hockley County Sheriff's deputy arrestedlast week is now out of jail.

Jesse Quintanilla has been in jail since last Friday when he and 27 others were arrested for their alleged involvement in a methamphetamine operation that spanned three states over six years. 

Quintanilla's family released this statement quote, "Jesse Quintanilla was released on his own recognizance this morning pending trial which is set for September 22nd, 2009. The family would like to thank everyone for their continued prayers. Pray not only for the accused but for their families as this is a difficult time for them as well."

Following his arrest, Quintanilla was suspended with pay from the Hockley County Sheriff's Office.
