PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - Authorities in Plainview are investigating a possible case of mail dumping. That's where a letter carrier throws mail away instead of delivering it.  

The Plainview Daily Herald quotes postmaster Emily Clark as saying there is an ongoing investigation. Clark did not specifically confirm mail dumping, nor did she confirm that other agencies are assisting in the investigation, according to the Daily Herald. However, she did confirm that one employee is under investigation.
