Lubbock Police say suicide likely in "suspicious" death

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock police say the shooting death of a 19-year old Lubbock man was likely suicide.

Sunday night, Lubbock police responded to a call of shots fired at the Indiana Village Apartments on North Indiana Avenue. Police say Michael Rodriguez, 19, was found dead around 7:00 p.m.

According to police reports, Rodriguez was distraught over possible criminal charges filed against him. An autopsy has yet to confirm the cause of death.
