LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Saigon Café Too at 4515 50th Street makes the Food for Thought list yet again, and they credit their constant cleaning.

"We clean every night. (We) sweep and mop. They clean the grills and wok every night. (They are) constantly cleaning," Tiffany Chandler says.

Tiffany says once you try their food, you'll be back. "All of our customers are very regular customers. Our food is very good. (We have) fresh shrimp, fish, chicken, pork; anything you would like. We have a lot of different sauces. They saute every vegetable in there with it. It's all fresh stuff and they make it up every time we order."

And Tiffany says if you don't want to try to pronounce the name of the dish, don't worry. "I get a lot of jokes asking me if I know how to speak Vietnamese, which I don't. So, most people order by the number."

Next we head to the Spirit Ranch Café. The restaurant at 220 Regis Ave. is a first time top performer.

Lastly, the king and queen of fast food make the top of the list this week. Burger King at 6003 W. 19th Street and the Dairy Queen at 7813 Slide Road both reign supreme.

Health inspectors cited the restaurant with six critical violations.

• A reach-in-cooler was not holding foods at a safe cold temperature.
• Employees' were handling food without gloves.
• Employees' were not washing their hands for the specified amount of time.
• There was not hot water at the hand sink.
• Employees' drinks were not in a designated place.
• The inside of a microwave was dirty.

Management says all violations have been corrected; the report shows most of the violations were corrected during the inspection.
