Several Lubbock city council members say Carroll McDonald made a racially offensive remark at last Thurday's closed meeting. McDonald was brought in to help turn around the utility's shaky financial position. But it appears McDonald's tenure is off to a shaky start.

If you find yourself stranded, simply look on the back of your driver's license. There, you'll find a toll free number for DPS assistance. But that doesn't mean the service is free.

In February Carl Wiley was in court facing Aggravated Assault charges. While in court a judge ordered his mouth to be duct taped. Thursday Wiley was back in court facing the same judge.

An early morning rollover leads to the postponement of a Lubbock wedding scheduled for Saturday.

Thursday night, Lubbock Police followed a vehicle and were finally able to stop the driver at South Loop 289 and University. Apparently police say the driver suffered a Diabetic seizure while driving.

U.S. Marines rescued seven prisoners of war outside of Tikrit, Iraq Sunday. One of those marines involved in the rescue lives right here in Lubbock.
