"As an added benefit for football season ticket holders, we are providing the Football VIP Card. We encourage all of our fans to use this card any time they visit our corporate partners listed. These businesses are offering excellent benefits for fellow Red Raider fans."

Texas Tech Athletics also is embarking on a "Go Green" initiative to obtain new or updated e-mail addresses from its customers. On the front of each season ticket envelope is a green sticker with instructions on how to submit e-mail addresses to the ticket office to update customer accounts.
"E-mail communication is becoming an increasingly popular means of reaching our customers and all Red Raider fans," said Dave Welsh, Associate AD/Ticket Operations. "Athletics utilizes e-mail to notify customers of renewal dates, ticket offers and upcoming events. E-mail is the most cost-effective direct marketing resource we utilize. Having our customers' e-mail addresses saves the athletic department time and money and we are able to communicate and directly reach our most loyal fans and customers."
Not included in the mailing are parking passes for the season. Those will be mailed at a later date, but prior to the season.
