A new treatment for fine lines and wrinkles

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Botox is getting some competition, a new drug treatment that erases wrinkles a little less expensively.

The newest injectable treatment is called ‘Dysport' and is very similar to Botox. Dysport works a little faster than Botox, which can take as long as a week for the full effect. The treatment also costs less than Botox, but it is not as potent. 

At any rate, if you're considering injections to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, there are more options now. Prices vary from one doctor to the next. Talk to your dermatologist or plastic surgeon if you would like more information on Dysport or Botox.
