LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Police continued to search for a shooting suspect Saturday evening.  EMS took victim, Travis English, 33, to University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg.  Authorities tell NewsChannel 11 the injury is non-life threatening.

Police say they had crews near the scene at the Flat Land Apartments on 9th Street, when they heard shots fired around 9:15 p.m. Friday.  They say English and another man went to the apartments. The driver says English went into one of the residences, then came out and said they needed to leave. That's when the suspect apparently opened fire.

"The guy apparently came to the vehicle, shots rang out, and they drove off," Lubbock Police Sergeant Ramirez said.  The victims went to a nearby convenience store for help. Investigators say the vehicle English was riding in had four bullet holes.

They continue to search for the shooting suspect. He's described as a black male, approximately 30-years-old. He was last seen wearing a black dew rag, white shirt, and blue jeans. If you know anything that could help authorities identify this suspect, call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
