LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - City crews start work on replacing part of Lubbock's downtown brick streets with asphalt on Monday. The street department will remove brick paving on Main Street from Avenue Q to Avenue O.
Work has already been reviewed by the Lubbock's Urban Design and Historic Preservation Commission. Motorists are urged to avoid the area. Work is expected to take two weeks to complete.
