LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - NewsChannel 11 has received word that Lubbock County employees will not receive a raise this year.
Lubbock County Commissioners on Monday proposed not to give pay raises to elected officials. In fact, County Judge Tom Head requested a $10,000 decrease in pay to bring his salary back down to traditional levels. Commissioners say it is also unlikely that county employees would receive a raise.
County Commissioners will meet again next week to discuss the budget.
