Two more arrested in recent Levelland drug bust

LEVELLAND, TX (KCBD) - A quick update on a story NewsChannel 11 broke Wednesday during NewsChannel 11 at 5. Two more suspects from Wednesday's drug bust in Levelland turned themselves in. Officials identify them as Deverl Dent, 23, and Mindy Chavez, 22.

One suspect is still on the run and thought to be headed toward Florida.  Including the two latest suspects, 13 people have been arrested and investigators tell NewsChannel 11 that methamphetamines, cocaine, and drug money were all confiscated.

This, by the way, was completely separate from the July 10th drug bust in Levelland.
