Cornyn says $1.5 million will bring new jobs to Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Money for new jobs in Lubbock;  Texas U.S. Senator John Cornyn made that announcement Thursday. He announced a $1.5 million grant to LEDA (or the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance).

The money will be used to construct new rail spurs at the Lubbock Rail Port inside the Lubbock Business Park. Cornyn says that it will attract more companies to Lubbock and he says that means more jobs.
