Police searching for suspect in East Lubbock stabbing death

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD)- One person is dead after being stabbed in East Lubbock, and police need your help in finding the suspect.

Police say 26-year-old Christopher Eric Perez was stabbed before 2 a.m. Friday outside of the Boss Office Bar at 518 East 4th Street.

His friends took him to an apartment near 65th and Avenue Q, where they realized he had been stabbed several times in the head and torso. They took Perez to the Grace Medical Center at 50th and University, where he was pronounced dead.

Now police need your help in finding the suspects:

  • Hispanic man with medium complexion
  • Late 30's to early 40's
  • 5 feet 9 inches tall, 175-180 pounds
  • White ball cap, white t-shirt, blue jeans
  • Hispanic man
  • Early 50's
  • Glasses
  • Spoke no English

They were last seen in a 1980's model white Ford pickup, extended cab, with a tool box.

    A Lubbock woman has pleaded guilty and has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the sexual assault of an underage family member.
