LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD)- Motorists are urged to find alternate routes, or allow time for possible delays due to micro- surfacing projects beginning Tuesday August 4th.
The City of Lubbock is under contract with Ballou Construction Inc. in continuing efforts to complete the 2009 Micro-surfacing project. Citizens are warned that there will be construction activity at diffrent times during this process resulting in times when roadways could be blocked off.

These major streets will have two applications of Micro-surfacing applied, this process is expected to take a week to complete dependent on weather.
