Another Good Source of Vitamin C and It's Not Oranges

Researchers at Arizona State University looked at various foods for the best sources of Vitamin C. They found that, ounce for ounce, green peppers have three times as much Vitamin C as oranges. Even higher amounts of Vitamin C can be found in red and yellow peppers.

While cooking somewhat reduces the level of Vitamin C, the peppers still retain high amounts of the vitamin.
