Casas For CASA Kicks Off Monday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Some very special houses are up for raffle for a very special cause. The 4th Annual Casas for CASA had its official ribbon cutting Monday at South Plains Mall. The three play houses are up for raffle, and proceeds will benefit CASA of the South Plains. CASA stands for court appointed special advocates.

"What we find is kids in foster care who have a CASA spend less time in the system which is ultimately our goal to get kids into safe and permanent homes," says Amy Paive.

The houses will be on display at the mall's Grand Court until August 29th. Tickets are five dollars each, or you can get five for $20.
