Nine employees laid off at Covenant in Plainview - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Covenant Hospital in Plainview is without nine workers after what is being called "right sizing."

The cuts came in various departments, including administration. Instead of downsizing, interim CEO Steve Beck called the layoffs a right sizing. Beck said the 300 bed hospital has 280 positions, so the layoffs represent about three percent of the workforce.
