Texas Tech to get four million dollars from Senate bill

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Kay Bailey Hutchison announced Tuesday the Senate approved the Fiscal Year 2010 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill.

The measure includes four million dollars for Texas Tech agriculture projects. Hutchison says the funding will help Texas Tech research to expand cotton production and trade. The measure will now be reconciled with the House version of the bill.
