LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock veterinarian injured by falling concrete during a remodeling project, is now resting at home.

Fire officials say Katherine Crouch, D.V.M., owner of South University Veterinary Hospital, was standing on a ladder Tuesday, when her head became trapped between a concrete slab and a beam.

It took 23 members of the Lubbock Fire Department, including the heavy rescue team, to free her.
