Tech Regents to discuss budget - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Texas Tech Regents will mull over a huge budget at their Thursday morning meeting. The Regents could end up spending the majority of the recent tuition increase on faculty and staff raises.

They will also look at spending millions on more research, and recruiting higher performing students. All in an effort to achieve the necessary criteria to become a Tier One University.
