LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Three years ago Sunday, Kay Harrelson, 51 disappeared with Peggy Merimon, 61 from the Lubbock State School. No one has seen or heard from the pair since August 9, 2006.

Searchers discovered Harrelson's body 11-days later in a bar ditch along F.M. 179 near Shallowater. Merimon has yet to be found. The victims' family members filed a civil lawsuit against Mickey Patterson for wrongful death, but he has never been criminally charged. Court documents list Pattern's current address in Oregon.

Merimon's family continues to hold out hope that they'll be able to find her. So, if you know anything that could help investigators, you're urged to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
