City hall property tax hearing Thursday - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - So far, the plan is for no property tax hike by the city of Lubbock.  Lubbock city council holds a public hearing on the issue of property taxes Thursday august 13th at 10 am.  It will be at city hall.  

Assuming the tax rate stays the same, collections will go up almost 2 percent in the coming year thanks to new construction.
