LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock's per capita personal income rose 3.8 percent from 2007 to 2008. That's according to statistics released this month by the Federal Bureau of Economic Analysis.
A map from the BEA shows that Lubbock is in the 4th quintile for per capita personal income growth in 2008, which is good. The 5th quintile is best and the first is the lowest. The BEA also says Lubbock is the 259th best metro in the U.S. for per capita personal income.
