Brownfield forms committee after controversial HOT money decision - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

BROWNFIELD, TX (KCBD) - Brownfield is much closer to resolving a recent economic controversy.   Last month we reported that the city council voted to no longer have the Brownfield Chamber of Commerce in charge of the hotel tax money.

Last week the council appointed an interim committee to come up with guidelines.   But the Chamber will still have a say in the matter.  That's because three members of that committee are also Chamber members.  Their report is expected next month.
