Judge Delays Decision on Permanent Injunction

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The decision on whether or not to close a Lubbock County recycling plant has been delayed.

A Travis County judge granted a continuance filed by attorneys for Larry Webb. Webb owns I-27 Recycling which erupted into flames Monday night.

Webb told authorities he accidently started the fire while refueling his truck. He suffered burns in the fire, and due to those injuries he could not attend Thursday's hearing.

The judge will hear arguments for a permanent injunction against the facility on August 26th.
