LISD teachers get pay raise


LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock ISD announced new details on a teacher salary hike Thursday.

The administration asked for and received salary increases for teachers, librarians, and nurses averaging out to a 3.8% increase.  Every teacher, librarian, and nurse will receive at least $1,450 more than last year and the starting teacher salary will be $36,000.
