Schneider plea negotiation rescheduled

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Back in April, NewsChannel 11 Investigates told the story of 22-year-old Michael Schneider.

Schneider, 22, faces trial in June accused of abusing a 2-year-old boy in Dawson County back in 2006. But while Schneider was on bond for that charge, Lubbock police arrested him in March of this year saying he beat a 6-month-old child.

Friday, attorneys for the state and Michael Schneider rescheduled a plea negotiation on the Lubbock charges. Both sides will meet in three weeks.
