Judge Head asked to resign after bulletin board controversy

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A group of concerned citizens is calling for Lubbock County Judge Tom Head to resign.  Earlier this month a bulletin board under head's control displayed anti-Obama political material. Some citizens found it to be racially charged.

"There's no room for this in Lubbock, Texas in 2009," says Eddie Richardson who is among the concerned citizens. He adds, "So, what he's doing is he's insulting people and he doesn't realize it from what he said."

This same group of concerned citizens will organize a protest next week. NewsChannel 11 left a message for Judge Head for his response, but he has not yet returned our call.   We will bring you the latest as this story develops.
