A pickup and an oil tanker collided in northwest Lubbock County on Tuesday night, injuring three people. It happened just before 6:00 at the intersection of County Roads 1500 and 2641.
According to DPS Troopers at the scene, the Dodge Ram was headed south on 1500 when the driver ran a stop sign. That's when the pickup collided with the hot oil tanker traveling eastbound on 2641.
The driver of the tanker and the two people in the pickup were all taken to hospitals for treatment. Their names and conditions are not yet available.
