Senator Hutchinson to announce for office in Lubbock

LUBBOCK TX (KCBD) - She made it all but official a long time ago but as of Monday its official.  U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson is officially running for governor.  

She said so in La Marque, Texas and she'll do it again in Lubbock on Wednesday at 2:15 at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion on the Texas Tech campus.  

She'll face Governor Rick Perry in a spring Republican primary.
