Jail guard under criminal investigation for sexual relations - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Garza County jailer who was suspended is now under investigation by the Texas Rangers. The male officer is accused of having sexual relations with a female prisoner.  

Even consensual relations under such circumstances would be illegal and considered a civil rights violation. If the officer is charged, it would be a 3rd degree felony.
