Houston Man Dies in Morning Collision - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

On Wednesday morning a Houston man died when he rolled his SUV on the Slaton Highway in southeast Lubbock. It happened just after 5 a.m. inside the city limits. Police say 29-year-old Paul Bownds was driving west when he hit a culvert causing his SUV to roll. Police

Spokesman Bill Morgan says Bownds was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. Bownds died at UMC around 7:30 that morning.
