Arlington Man Dies in Lubbock Crash

In North Lubbock County, an Arlington man died after a collision west of the Lubbock International Airport. DPS Troopers say 52-year-old Jack Clifton had just flown in to Lubbock and rented the white Chevrolet. He was leaving the airport, when troopers say Clifton ran a stop sign at University and County Road 2641. That's when Elda Flores of Abernathy t-boned Clifton's car in the intersection.

Flores and 29-year-old Darryl Rickles, who was in Clifton's car, were treated and released from UMC. Clifton died at UMC.
