LUBBOCK TX (KCBD) - Frustration builds among local business owners as alcohol sales in all of Lubbock County are voter approved but still up in the air inside city limits. Two protesters say in writing that the city needs its own election because of previous elections in Lubbock.
Tuesday and Wednesday, NewsChannel 11 asked the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission if the protests apply to the current city limits or the 1972 city limits (1972 is the year of the a previous election). The TABC tells us to ask the city, but the city says talk to TABC.
