LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock only had one unsolved murder in 2008, and Thursday marks the one year anniversary of her death.
The body of Monica Isabel Adams was found by an oil field worker in Northeast Lubbock on August 20th.
Police say the 29-year-old disappeared about 5 days earlier and died from multiple blows to the back of her head.
Investigators have some physical evidence and detectives are following every lead, but authorities still hope that someone has new information that could help solve the case.
Authorities urge anyone who has even a minor detail about Monica Adams' life or death that they think could help investigators to call Crime Line at 741-1000.
