Butler Due Back In Federal Court - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Dr. Thomas Butler has another date with a federal court. His next appearance will be before a Federal Grand Jury, February 12th. The Texas Tech researcher at the center of Lubbock's bubonic bacteria scare is currently free on bond. Butler is accused of lying about the whereabouts of 30 samples of the potentially deadly bacteria.

Jury members will determine if there is sufficient evidence to hand down a federal indictment.
