July unemployment numbers released

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock's unemployment went up just a bit in July. The Texas Workforce Commission released the July numbers, and Lubbock rose from 6% to 6.1%.

The state unemployment rose from 8% to 8.2%. The nation's rate stayed steady at 9.7%.
