Everyday folks from Petersburg become heroes

PETERSBURG TX (KCBD) - Nearly two dozen folks in Petersburg stepped up when their town needed them.  Petersburg lost its abulanance service.  So, volunteers learned how to do the work of paramedics and ambulance drivers, took their state tests, and got the program back on track.

They met Friday night for something of a thank you dinner at Ruby Tequalia's in Lubbock.  We'll have more about the ordinary everyday heros from Petersburg and other cities in the Newschannel 11 viewing area during the first week of September.
