German Intelligence Services Investigating Tip That Afghan-Trained Terrorists Heading to Europe

Germany is investigating a tip that as many as 20 terrorists trained in Afghanistan may be heading to Europe.

German intelligence is looking into the matter but a federal police spokesman says there is no immediate danger. He says border authorities have been alerted but no warning has been issued.

The spokesman confirmed a newspaper report that suspected terrorists carrying fake Pakistani passports are moving from Afghanistan in five groups to Germany, Britain, France, and Chechnya.
