Two hit by car early Wednesday morning - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two people were critically injured Wednesday morning after being struck by a car across the street from the Texas Tech campus. 

Police say Audrey Rose Olga Pena and Joey Lozano, both 21, were hit by a car in middle of the road in the 3200 block of 4th Street in front of Conference Café. Both Pena and Lozano suffered critical injuries.

The 20-year-old driver left the scene, but did return a few minutes later. No charges have been filed. Police say the case will be presented to the District Attorney's Office for review.
