LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock City Council will meet Thursday to discuss another round of exceptions for stores wanting to sell alcohol inside city limits.
Eight convenience stores are asking for an exception that would allow them to sell alcohol within 300 feet of a school. Two markets are near LISD schools, a third near Trinity Christian School. The remaining stores are near Texas Tech University.
