Plains Capital to offer I.P.O.

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Plains Capital Bank will sell $140 million of stock to the public.   Plains Capital started in Lubbock back in 1987 and now is based in Dallas.  It's the 10th largest bank in Texas.

The Dallas Business Journal says the proceeds will pay back debt including troubled asset relief money from the federal government.
