TCEQ convinces judge to shut down I-27 Recycling

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Wednesday, the wheels were set in motion to permanently shut down a Lubbock business.  Flames, which shot up August 10th, are no longer raging at I-27 Recycling near the airport, and the county is beginning to clean it up.

Owner Larry Webb has been accused of several environmental violations. Wednesday state officials convinced a judge to issue a permanent injunction to shut it down. But it will take several days before it fully takes effect.
