A new shopping center is planned near Jones AT&T Stadium

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - If all goes according to plan, Lubbock will have a new retail center.

The Tao Group wants a master planned development at University & Marsha Sharp Freeway. It will include a restaurant, movie theater, retail stores and maybe more.

No word on when it will be done, but the city council did approve a zoning change for the project Thursday.
