Toddler unharmed in Houston after parents shot to death

HOUSTON (AP) - Houston police say a toddler was located unharmed at her home where her parents were found shot to death.

A relative on Thursday night discovered the 2-year-old girl at the residence after not hearing from the family and checking on them.

Homicide investigator J.T. Barringer says the deaths appear to have been a murder and a suicide. Police say a pistol was discovered near the man.

Names of the man and woman were not immediately released.
