LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Texas Department of Public Safety clears up some confusion about a new law concerning teen drivers and cell phones. Starting Tuesday, all drivers under the age of 18 cannot use a wireless communication device while driving, but that only applies for teens who receive their license after that date.
Drivers under 18 who already have their license still cannot use cell phones for six months after receiving their license.
